780527d435 AF comments on Chapter 4. 
Cannot now use the term symptom (but it is still useful to describe stuff
and John suggested its use ARRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH

Still need to sort out the DAGS

Feels like thrashing rather than re-writing
Changing things round for the sake of it
half of AF's comments just show ignorance of electronics or
are pedantic. Rarely do they HELP.
They just rip the thing apart.

cba1af5076 fixed curved line in uml meta model diagram. 
Added an interpretation of the UML meta model showing how
it is inherently hierarchical.

c138464dbf OK re-organised CH4. Put sys safe example in with a couple of extra hierarchy diagrams 
and put the formal defininitions into the appendix, along with the algorithm descriptions.
Needs red penning. Alot probably.
Going to dump a full back up on ubuntu one just in case I forgot
to `git add' any graphics file.
find out at work on tuesday.

73a0e5be19 D instead of bowtie notation used 
for symptom abstraction in tex
and diagrams now.

Next add the software with FMMD.

AND after thatfinish off the sigma delta ADC
analysis.

Need to go through the bowties and make them
'D' instead, a function, that derives a derived component....

Annoying means I have to go through ALL the dia diagrams as well......

61f4fa0f88 Tacked the symptom abstraction from old_thesis 
symptom_ex_process into CH4.

I think I have repeated the basic description of FMMD
about 4 times now!
Have to sort that out.
Cycle back to patcham now and pop in to see the cats on the way back...

c050936f28 OK went through my own proff reading process 
and its now 20:05 and I am getting a bit tired.
Better put it in git or perhaps loose
it due to a typo in a Makefile....

7671005fe3 OK starting to get the new thesis structure 
actually producting pdf files.

In each chapter directory, copy.tex
is the source file for the chapter.
A makefile should exist in each of these
directories, and this when supplied the arg copy
will make all images form dia/gnuplot etc
